About me
The town of Boom, clay quarries along the Rupel river, my birthplace ... forever connected.
I was born and raised in a family of brick makers, hearing stories about clay and fire since my earliest childhood.
That’s where my passion for ceramics was born.
I love to work with a mix of different types of clay. Their natural colours, with predominantly earthy tones, interplay with the fire and ventilation in the kiln to create uniquely authentic pieces.
